These fridge mates are great and I was totally shocked and pleasantly surprised at the difference that they make in how long food stayed fresh and usable. I haven't any idea of why they work, and don't really care how. What I do like is the oblong shape that fits in the fridge a lot better. I seem to have more room the way they stack on each other, and I like being able to see what's in the containers without having to open up every container to find the one that I am hunting for. I like the fact that they do what they say. They keep foods fresh longer and that saves money. The containers are oblong, which is a great shape to go in the fridge and the raised grid in the bottom keeps fresh veggies raised just enough that they stay fresher. I do find the lids to be a challenge but with a little usage, they seem to go on easier. The containers have a vent on the side which allows air to circulate. They are a little pricy but throwing away food is costly. The set that I bought works so well that I plan to add to my set. I would not hesitate to recommend Tupperware Fridgemates to my friends. In fact I have.

These containers are a wonderful way to store produce that will last much longer than in crisper draws of a refridgerator. Each has instructions for storing all varieties of produce right on the container. Plus they are Tupperware, so they are guaranteed for life!

Tupperware has always made great products. My grandmother still has some old Tupperware, so you know its durable! The FridgeSmart Containers are an excellent addition to your kitchen. They are made with the purpose of keeping your food fresh, fruits and vegetables in particular. I was very skeptical about this product, but the Tupperware lady talked me into it! She wasn't exaggerating. FridgeSmart containers are little miracle workers! I don't exaggerate when I say my celery and carrots have lasted a month in the Fridgesmart, coming out as fresh and crispy as ever. It's easy to image the money this could save you! Being a family of two, we don't go through fresh veggies, like a bag of celery, extremely fast. It's nice to have a few weeks of leeway in which to use them up. The FridgeSmart Containers are FANTASTIC. If you have thought about getting them, or are skeptical, I'm telling you: BUY THEM!! You won't regret it!

I don't spend lots of money on things like Tupperware. I've been using the throwaway type containers for years. As a vegetarian, I buy lots of fruits and veggies! I also have a twelve year old who loves grapes, peppers, etc. and we always end up throwing half of the produce away. No one likes wasting food! A few years ago, a friend of mine threw a Tupperware party and talked about the benefits of owning the **Tupperware FridgeSmart Containers. **They are a bit expensive, so I was hesitant at first to spend the money. I only bought a medium sized FridgeSmart from her party, but quickly realized that I wanted all of them! I now have the small and medium and just ordered the large! I love the easy to read grahic on the side that lets you know what "setting" for the vents to use for all items. It keeps my peppers for almost three times as long in the fridge! I highly recommend picking up one (or all) of the sizes to try at your house. Go Tupperware!

This was the first Tupperware line I ever purchased (I just discovered Tupperware last year). I buy a ton of fruits and vegetables, but I would many times throw rotten or frozen items away at the end of the week. I had considered trying those green bags, but saw this FridgeSmart line and was intriqued. I had a party so I could earn the entire set for free. I am pretty frugal. :) After my first shopping trip, I realized I needed even more, so I added a second set and the round lettuce saver (again, having a party so I didn't have to pay out of pocket). The containers have ridged bottoms to allow air to circulate throughout the fridge and around the fruits/vegetables. Each container has 2 vent holes. Depending on the produce you are storing inside, you'll either have both vents closed, one vent closed and one open or both vents open. There are pictures of the most popular fruits and veggies on the side, along with the proper storage venting, and you also get a small booklet with a larger list of fruits and vegetables inside. Using FridgeSmart storage containers has probably doubled the amount of time food stays fresh in the fridge. On a regular basis, I buy asparagus, beets, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, berries, grapes, apples, and carrots, and I can store them with confidence knowing they'll be in peak condition when I'm ready to use them.

I acquired a set of Tupperware FridgeSmart Containers for my home kitchen about six months ago.  I couldn't be happier with my Tupperware FridgeSmart Containers!  Each Tupperware FridgeSmart container contains two vents that allow you to properly gauge humidity for your stored fruitts and vegetables.  There is a thorough chart on tthe Tupperware FridgeSmart containers with an easy to follow pattern tthat shows you how to set the vents for storage.  Some fruits and vegetables are optimally stored at no humidity.  Some fruits and vegetables are opttimally stored with a little humidity and finally some are just right with the most humidity.  The easy to open vents on each Tupperware FridgeSmart allow you to precisely dial in the right amount of humidity for your fruits and veggies!  I also love the color selection of the Tupperware FridgeSmart containers.  The blue and green colors are easy on the eye!  The best partt about the Tupperware FridgeSmartt containers is that they add shelf life to my fruits and veggies.

The Tupperware FridgeSmart Containers are amazing.  They have saved me a ton of money on produce because I am no longer throwing away bad produce.  They keep the food so fresh that we are able to finish it before it goes bad.  My kids love strawberries but I have often gone to my refridgerator to find mine covered in mold or rotten.  That has never happened since I started storing them in the Tupperware FridgeSmart Containers.  They are always fresh and mold free.  I have also had limp lifeless celery that I have thrown away before I got the Tupperware FridgeSmart containers.  Now when I open my Tupperware my celery is crisp and fresh. The containers are easy to use. The Tupperware FridgeSmart Containers have all the venting instructions printed on the container so you always know exactly how to keep your produce fresh.  They are easy to clean (dishwasher safe but I usually just rinse them out in te sink) and they work!!  They keep all of my produce fresh and crisp and mold free.

This is one of those Tupperware sets that I think everyone should have. I know, you are going to say that it costs too much, and yes, it is a bit pricey in some ways. But what if I told you that it would pay for itself in a year's time? Seriously, since I have the Tupperware FridgeSmarts I have thrown out way less produce and fruit than I did before. I don't totally understand how it works, but the FridgeSmarts have little vents on each container that you set to both open, both closed, or one open, one closed depending on the produce or fruit that you want to store. (There's a guide on the container to help you know which way to put the vents.) Anyway, the vents help prevent or provide air circulation and as a result keep your produce fresh longer. The other thing is the ridged bottom that helps drain moisture away from the produce therefore preventing mold and rot from happening as quickly. I have had leaf lettuce for at least 2 weeks and it is still nice and crisp, mushroom for a month, grapes for a month and still crisp etc. The FridgeSmarts come in four sizes. The large rectangular one is my favorite since it is a nice size for carrots, celery, leaf lettuce, grapes- you name it. The smaller containers work well too, however, I find that they are hardly big enough for the usual amount of produce that I purchase.

I love Fridgesmart containers. They keep food fresh longer than any other products. We are able to keep lettuce fresh for weeks. They have labels on them to help you keep your food properly stored. Tupperware has always had great products and honors their limited lifetime warranty. I will always buy Tupperware products. They are sturdy and rarely ever break. All pieces can easily be replaced. This product fits perfectly in our refrigerator. It can be used for all fruits and all vegetables. I love that I can keep the food fresh so much longer than if I were to use other products. It keeps food smelling fresh too. It is easy to clean. You just have to make sure that you get all the water out of it so it completely dries before you use it. Otherwise it will make the food wet and soggy, which makes the food turn moldy. Make sure your refrigerator is on the right setting and also the drawer you put the container in.

The fridge mart set from Tupperware is absolutely great! I use it for cheese bricks, and have not had to have any extra packaging to keep the edges from getting hard, for veggies, and lunch meats. It is a versatile product that does not take up much space in your fridge, and keeps it organized, and looks nice! The coolers are awesome. When I told my other half what I wanted to buy for the fridge (he didn't look at the picture or anything) he said as long as it isn't a bunch of "girly colors" and he loved them when they got here! During the summer when we BBQ'd a lot of fish, I kept it stored in the fridge savers so it wouldn't stink up the fridge. It worked wonderfully, and after being washed in the dishwasher there was no odor left on the plastic. True to it's word it DOES keep the freshness of fruit, veggies, and cheese longer than if you just had them in produce bags. The price isn't too ridiculous or expensive, and it's a great organization tool that no fridge should be without!
