My mom got me this chopper, and the first time I used it I was not impressed with the product! Since then I have learned that it works better for some things and not so well for other things. The first time I used it I was trying to make fresh salsa, and well lets just say that I like my salsa to look nice and this just got all smashed up, and mushy :( It did not work like I had expected. But since then I've learned that it works well when chopping peppers and things like that that are more firm and mot so soft. I use it quite often but I still have another chopper to make salsa and things like that! It is a good chopper just not what I had expected. I don't know if I would buy another one if I chould do it over but that's just my opinion. I know some of my friends just love this chopper so it's all a matter of opinion. Ease of Cleaning It's not bad to clean at all, which is a big plus! Durability This chopper is very well built!

I love my chopper! My favorite thing to make using it is salsa. I can throw everything in at the same time and chop it all to the same consistency and it makes a nice sized bowl. It comes apart rather easily for cleaning and goes back together smoothly! The blades are very sharp so I caution you to be very careful when taking apart, cleaning, and reassembling you chopper. It is a rather small appliance so finding a place to store it is no problem at all! It is a lot easier to hide away in the cupboard than those big, electric food processors. The of the cons to the Chop 'n Prep is that you can't turn it on and leave it on while you multitask since it is manually operated. With that being said it is great because it uses zero electricity and saves on power.

I just got this last week. I've used it once, to chop up veggies for an omelet. I dumped in some leftover slices of pepper and a 1/4 onion I had in the fridge, put the lid on, pulled the cord 8 times and had perfectly diced vegetables. It's amazing! My kids were fighting over who could help me use it next. I bought it because I liked the fact that it doesn't take up much space in the cupboard and is so much easier to clean than my big ol' food processor. It can also be used to store whatever you've chopped/processed; just use the included lid--no smells escape! Since it doesn't require electricity, I can easily take camping with me, too. The finished product is uniformly chopped. The product is easy to clean and easy to use. I recommended this to my mother, who doesn't have the strength and dexterity needed to get out a cutting board and finely chop an onion or other vegetable. It would be great for someone with arthritis that has lost some manual dexterity, too.
