Tucan Sailing Adventure - Cozumel, Mexico

The Tucan Sailing Adventure is an absolute must-do!

5

A big group of family/friends heads to Cozumel, Mexico each spring for vacation. Someone suggested taking a day-long sailing trip aboard the *Tucan* through Cozumel Sailing. We had a few open days during the trip, so my sister booked what they call a *Tucan Sailing Adventure* for the 14 of us. The *Tucan Sailing Adventure* is a 6 hour trip aboard a large catamaran. You are provided with a cooked lunch and unlimited bottled water, soda, beer, and mixed drinks, and have the opportunity to stop to snorkel above a few reefs, travel to a remote beach, and to take a ride on a spinnaker if the weather allows it. The cost is about $80 per person (plus tip for the crew) and the boat holds up to 16 people. Because we had a group of 14, we had the boat and crew all to ourselves. The entire group had an absolute blast on the *Tucan Sailing Adventure*. The crew were very hard-working and made sure that we were never wanting for a drink or anything else that we wanted. They spoke very good English and were able to joke along with us as various family members made fun of each other. The price is certainly more expensive than a day of sitting on a free beach, but it is well worth the cost in my opinion. The whole day was fun from start to finish and is definitely something that we will be booking again in the future. Highly recommended!
