People either love True Blood or hate it. I LOVE it and can't wait for season 2! I came to know of True Blood late in the season and just ate it up. I think I watched the whole season in less than a week - it was too hard to wait for the next episode.
Now, I do love a good vampire story but at first all the sex did take me by surprise... but it really is a great show.
I'd read the first Sookie book and just had not gotten around to reading the rest, but now I'd like to. Casting is top notch (not something I say often), and Ball's writing and directing are right on. I loved Six Feet Under but really... True Blood rocks.
