Anybody who has ever read a book by Nicholas Sparks knows that he rights heart string pulling books.  He writes a good romance but is not someone you want to read if you are looking for a quick gratification romance or a steamy novel.  Sure there may be a tiny bit of steam, but the books focus more on the relationship than the steam. True Believer is certainly no exception to what seems to be the rule of Nicholas Sparks.

Jeremy Marsh is a New York Scientific investigative Journalist.  Jeremy is 37 years old, divorced, and apparently pretty sexey.  He has recently been called to North Carolina...

This was quite a bit different from most of the other Sparks books I've read in that it deals with more of the supernatural and less of the coincidental incidents that bring people together. I hear there is a part 2 book but I'm just not interested in reading it because of all the repetitions from other books.

* I just wanted to give a few examples of the repetitions I came across while reading a few Sparks books...I noticed alot of single parents or soon to be single parents, 2nd grade teachers or kids being in the 2nd grade. And the most important...every first kiss was the same as it was in...

I really loved this book.  It was quiet, soothing, and overall, very relaxing.  Most of the time I'm one who reaches for the action packed book, the kind that keeps you on the edge of your seat.  But every so often I just want to read something quiet when I'm in the mood.  I was in that mood when I found this book and I wasn't disapointed.  Nicholas Sparks has a way of writing books that really sooth the soul.  When you want to read something that appeals to the mind and emotions, this a great book!

Nicholas Sparks has done it again. This is a great book! A nice romantic novel without being trashy. I need a book that will catch my attention within the first few pages and boy did it. I love that Jeremy meets a nice girl that really just doesn't care for him. It wasn't a he meets her, she falls in love, they get married kinda book. It was a fight for him pretty much every step of the way. I could so read this book over and over.

If you are a Sparks fan, read True Believer. It is so romantic. The sequel to this book. At First Sight is excellent as well. It may be even better than True Believer. Read both and you won't be disappointed. The main character is not your typical libraian and the male character has an interestion profession as a ghost hunter.

Good, touching story. Downfall is that all of Nicholas Sparks' books end the same way. Someone dies...same story different character names, but same ending. Really I feel you can read the jacket cover and save some tissues. His books all make you cry. A plus though is they are all easy to read.
