About 6 months ago I went into Target to get my son a dvd player in his room b/c I am sick of watching the same movie over and over.I saw the TruTech dvd player for $29.99 and thought well for it only going in his room that is a good deal.I noticed on the box it said plays most dvd's thinking that was odd I still bought it.It was great the first 35 days and then poof it wouldn't play any dvd's.I tried every dvd I owned and every time it said invalid disc.I tried to take it back and exchange but was told past 90 days they won't do anything.So I thought ok well maybe it was just a dud and bought yet another one.Dumb idea b/c this one was worse.The first 2 days it worked just fine and now you put a dvd in it says no disc.At least this time it was in my 90 days.The one thing that upset me with returning it is that the lady asked if my son could of messed with it.There is NO WAY he could of got it,it is was out of his reach.Sometimes you can get off brand things for cheaper and they work great but this brand is one I will always stay away from.
