My husband bought me this Troy-Built 4 cycle Garden Cultivator at Lowes one day when I complained about digging up my veggie garden myself and what a pain it was. This machine was not cheap, but since I know how to garden and love it and will be doing a lot of ground prep in the years to come, well he gave in. On the initial start-up (which my husband did-but was hard for him) it worked fine. Mind you I have owned a much larger tiller in years past so I am no dummy to tillering! The Troy;built 4 cycle cultivator tills up a storm when it will run. Sorry to say the tiller has been in the shop more than my garden. The service man says the carburetors do not last a long time. I have to agree. I have had this machine for 3 years an it has been in the shop each year. I like the cultivator very much. The most prominent problem I have had is running the machine for a while, shutting it off to rest myself and not being able to get the machine to start again. Oh well maybe I run it too hard.
