This Troy-Bilt self-propelled lawn mower with a bagger is a really good mower. I've had it for a few years, along with another brand, and this is the one I prefer to use. It propels itself well, although it does have a bit of a problem with a relatively steep hill in my yard. That one area requires more pushing, but it's a small area and easy to deal with. Performance The lawn mower works well. It doesn't go too fast when the self-propel lever is down, and it cuts evenly. Handling This is a fairly heavy mower, especially when the bag is halfway full or more, and it's a bit on the larger side for a push mower, but it maneuvers well. Durability I've had this mower for several years and used it fairly heavily and have had no problems with it. Safety The safety stops work well. I don't see any safety issues. Ease of Use The mower is easy to use except for one thing. The bag can be difficult to remove and then put back on. There is a heavy plastic flap covering the entrance to the bag that does not stay open on its own. So you have to use one hand to hold that up and then the other to pull the bag off and then put it back on. There have been times when I've had to get help with the bag. Engine Power The engine power is good, except for the steep hill.

After a year,  I am pleased with the performance of my Troy-Bilt mower. I especially like the mulching capability, as I prefer to leave clippings on the grass for added nutrients.  But I have used the bag attachment when the grass was higher, and found it easy to get on and off. The mower is rugged and works well, even over some uneven spots in the lawn. The only problem I've had is when some pine twigs got into the engine-certainly not the mower's fault. I would highly recommend the Troy-Bilt!

Finally got my wish granted, which was this Troy-Built walk behind Lawn Mower. It wasn't so much this type or brand I was interested in until I got it & finally able to use it. I merely wanted a lawn mower than worked & worked well. By that I mean I needed a lawn mower that could be easily started & pushed as I walk behind it. I had two other lawn mowers that broke down or kept giving me a hard time when it came to starting it. When I did get it started I was to tired to cut the grass from pulling on the cord so many times just to get it going! My kids bought this Troy-Built Walk Behind Lawn Mower that I am so happy & please with because first of all it's from them & second of all it really does a good job on cutting my grass without the hard effort of trying to start it, or push it. Even the settings on it are easy to do & the after results were really great because this lawn mower did an excellent job cutting my lawn. There is no grass flying up in the air nor getting all over me or my clothes either which is another big plus! You can't go wrong investing in one, that's for sure! From what I understand the price isn't that bad where it is affordable.

I bought my troy built lawn mower for my new house. I have a medium size yard and find this more is easy to handle. It starts very easy ususally in 1 pull of the cord. It has conventient high adjustments for the deck. One height adjustment sets two wheels on this mower.. Other mowers you have to adjust each wheel at a time. It has a mulching attachment and trimmer bag. The mower is fairly light weight, not hard to push. Can be easily cleaned up with a hose. The mower was easily assembled from the box. It did not require any tools to assemble the mower. The mower was moderately priced. I feel like I received a bargain for the mower that I picked. I would recommend this mower to my friends and family. For anyone that has a medium size yard are a lot of push mowing to be done in their yard. The blades cut the grass evenly and even handle the tough dandelion  weeds that was in my yard. I hope that anyone who needs a new mower will give troy built a try.
