My boyfriend and I got these condoms when they first came out because they sounded interesting. You would think you could trust Trojan because it's a very popular brand, but I guess not. Your supposed to get a sensation of warming and cooling from these condoms. Well, the only part I felt was the fire and then more fire. We actually had to stop and my boyfriend removed it immediately because he was in pain. When they say fire, they should specify that it means you will feel like your on fire. I guess we didn't wait around long enough to feel the ice.

I thought that it would provide the same barrier as the others, but with this one, you could feel the difference and from a female perspective, it was quite pleasurable and took the encounter to new heights. I'm not sure how he felt, but I think he was similarly pleased.

These came in a pleasure pack that my boyfriend purchased. I was kind of excited to use these because I thought they would be fun and exhilarating. Fire and Ice, hot and cold, you know it seemed great. Right? Wrong. Well, you know the moment approaches and I asked my boyfriend to use one of the Fire and Ice condoms. He obliged and my first thought was um ouch that stings. Well the more intense it got, the more it hurt! My sensitive area was on fire!!! NOT IN A GOOD WAY! I made him stop and I had to hop in the shower and wash that crap off of me immediately! Let's just say the rest of the Fire and Ice condoms were thrown out! I would not even wish these condoms on my worst enemy! They are horribly painful for the females, and are irritating for the males. If you care about your junk and your girlfriend's junk, do not buy these! Get something else that will not set her genitals on FIIIIRRRRREE!

Generally, as long as a condom provides pregnancy protection, I'll give it a 2 rating at least, but these were so unpleasant. These gave both myself and my partner an uncomfortable burning sensation, and he lost his erection within minutes of putting it on. Stick with the basics, and if you are looking for something to spice things up, try a different shape (ribbed, or studded) not this condom.

I'm not on any form of birth control (as far as patches, pills, injections go) so it's always been either condoms or um...the "withdrawal" method. Well not wanting to give my baby a sibling just yet, I decided to use condoms and the Trojan Fire and Ice Latex condoms are the perfect solution for birth control. Why? Because they give new meaning to "burning love". After using these, I told my husband to "get that thing away from me" as I screamed in horror fanning my poor, burning girl parts. I don't mind a little tingling sensation every now and then but these were a bit much for my liking. My husband didn't have any complaints (the inside part of the condom was an icy feeling whereas the outer part was "fire") but from a girl's point of view...holy hell. It would've been less painful making love to a lit match. Would give this a negative if I could.

So I've read a lot of horrible reviews on these. And I can understand WHY it might not work for everyone. Just like most things of a sexual nature, it takes all kinds.  And honestly, I was a little bit frightened when we picked these up.  Kinda wondered just how hot hot would be.  My best advice on this is to see how you like warming lube. The reason I say that is because you can try warming lube other places. The last time you want to find out the warming sensation is too, uh, warm, is when it's go time and the going is...gone, if you know what I mean. Despite my initial worry, I thought the warming was quite nice, and it seemed like the ice thing was working for my SO. I was really getting lost in the sensations and for me, that's a really good thing.  Helps me get there.  The warming sensation would ebb and flow and by the time we were done....I felt like it was a good rollercoaster ride.  I don't suggest trying other activities after, there was some afterburn. it's fun. i wouldn't use them all the time, but it's a nice ride. Just TRY something warming elsewhere first.

The lubricant on the Fire & Ice condoms was a bit too strong for me and my partner. The sensation was similar to the feeling you get when you apply Ben Gay, and not very pleasing when applied onto a sensitive area of the body. Actually was a little scary for a few seconds.
