Trip Advisor is the best place to start planning your trip. You get reviews from people that have stayed at the hotel and some even post pictures they took so you can get a real view instead of the photos that hotels post on their website that aren't always accurate. Trip Advisor will give you rates from quite a few websites, too. Even if you're booking a package through another website, you can search your hotel on this website and see what travelers are saying about it. I found what I thought were some great hotels in Europe, until I read the reviews and saw some of the pictures.
