I have been troubled with stretch marks for a few years now.  I lost a bunch of weight rapidly, and low and behold they appeared....sigh.  I have tried just about every cream out there and Trilastin is no exception.

A month or two ago a friend who had a few babies recommended Trilastin to me.  After I got over the sticker shock ($80.00 for SIX ounces) I decided to give it a shot.  I trust my friends judgement, and I knew she would never recommend something unless she really trusted the product.  I went online shortly after the conversation with said friend, and ordered a bottle pronto.

When the bottle came I couldn't get over how small $80.00 worth of product actually is.  According to the directions you are supposed to apply Trilastin in the morning and evening, preferrably after a shower.  Well I could tell right off the bat that these 6 ounces weren't going to last long applying it twice a day.  But then I remembered all the fantastic things my friend said and I pushed all the doubt out of my mind.

I used the cream religiously for 2 weeks and the 'fading' that was supposed to happen never did.  I figured I needed more time to see if it would work, so stupid me, I bought ANOTHER bottle.  You heard me right folks, $160 for 12 ounces of cream that never worked.  My stretch marks never faded, I didn't receive the same results as my friend and I ended up with a much lighter wallet.  I was a little ticked for a day or two, but I quickly got over it and moved on to the next product.  I will keep you folks posted on my stretch mark cream discoveries and whether or not they work!

If you are looking for a effective stretch mark lightening cream, Trilastin is not a winner in my book.  Save yourself the $80 and go buy yourself an icecream cone....oh wait, isn't that how we got here in the first place???  LOL

Yeah, I don't usually splurge like that, but these stretch marks are really bothering me and I'm totally desperate at this point and am willing to try anything. They are SO ugly...blah, I just want them to go away. :-(

wow, 80$ is a lot! Maybe it worked for your friend because she just had temporary baby stretch marks. Who knows, everyone's body is different. Thanks for sharing! But for 80$ I can't imagine trying this even if you said it worked though :-D
