I am a gum lover - I chew it all of the time, and I love to try new flavor. I enjoy the type of packaging that Trident currently makes, and personally I think it's fun to tear through the packaging and retrieve the gum. It gives it a cool feel, however the most important part of any gum is the flavor. It is decent. There are definitely different gums out there, such as the Trident Strawberry/Lime gum, that have a better taste, but I still like this. The cinnamon is fairly strong but not overpowering. I use it mainly as a concentration device, and while it may just be a placebo effect, there are studies out there that say chewing gum before a test or mental activity as well as while doing the activity can increase brainpower. However, it's too bad that the gum will be discontinued by Trident because I did enjoy chewing it from time to time. Overall: 8 Grade: A- or B+ ***NOTE*** If you really want the gum, since it is much tougher to find this in stores, it is available in bulk on Amazon.

Once again I have the same complaint about the new gum varieties that have been introduced recently - too much packaging. **Trident White - Cinnamon Tingle **has a nice, zingy cinnamon flavor. The pieces are white and rectangular, similar to Chiclets, and have a liquid, cinnamon center. The gum is sugar free and contains 5 Calories per 2 piece Serving. There is no Fat or Sodium and 2g of Carbohydrates. Ingredients: Sorbitol, Gum Base, Maltitol, Natural and Artificial Flavoring, Mannitol; Less Than 2% of Acacia, Acesulfame Potassium, BHT (To Maintain Freshness), Candelilla Wax, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Soy Lecithin, Sucralose and Titanium Dioxide (Color). Trident claims that chewing 2 pieces of Trident White sugar free gum after eating and drinking helps whiten teeth in as little as 4 weeks and prevent stains. These claims are based on a 12-week clinical trial. There are 3 packs to a package; and each pack contains 12 pieces for a total of 36 pieces (18 Servings). As you can see by the picture, the gum pieces are placed in a plastic blister container backed with foil and slid into a thin cardboard insert. The packages are then enclosed in a thick cellophane-like bag. For 18 Servings of gum, I think it's an exorbitant amount of packaging, especially during a time of such concern about waste. I took some searching; but I was able to find my old stand-by Trident Sugarless Gum in uncoated gum pieces and in less packaging.
