The eight ounce package contained pre-mixed and non-sanded grout - perfect for use with glass tiles. The grout comes in a squeezable, clear plastic pouch and contains enough product to cover 3 - 4 square feet. I figured that the packaging would make the grout a cinch to use and would require little clean up after the project was finished.
The grout comes in 12 colors and is supposed to dispense in a consistency like yogurt. I opened the reusable cap and attempted to squeeze out the contents. The first bit of grout came out in a toothpaste-like ribbon and I began to spread it on the board's surface rather easily. Unfortunately, I must have picked up an old batch of this stuff, because the squeezing became increasingly difficult. The grout seemed drier than when I first began to apply. Finally, it got to the point where I gave up squeezing, just cut a slit in the plastic, and scooped it out with a plastic spoon. Eventually I was able to use it and it looks great in my finished project, but it was not with the ease I had expected.
Overall, I do recommend the Pre-Mixed Mosaic Grout by Triangle Crafts. Even though I had a few problems getting the stuff out of the pouch, I still appreciate that the grout is pre-mixed and tinted a nice color. I do suggest that you try to buy a fresh product. Don't buy it if it looks like it's been sitting around on the shelf for awhile, or if it feels the least bit hardened or non-pliable.
