iNSTALLATION CAN BE A PROBLEM. I HAD TO CALL TECH SUPPORT TO UNINSTALL THEN REINSTALL. THEN MY SHARED HOME NET FILES AND PRINTERS WOULD NOT WORK. 2ND CALL TO TECH SUPPORT PUT BLAME ON MY SYSTEM/OTHER SOFTWARE. CALLED MY TECH SUPPORT WHO UNINSTALLED TREND MICRO INTERNET SECURITY 2008 AND ALL WORKED FINE...

I am sorry to have to provide a very negative review for this company.  I recently had to upgrade/renew my membership for my virus software for my computer.  It has been a nightmare. After waiting for 45 minutes for a customer service rep, I was advised to purchase a specific version of software online to renew my subscription.

I was apparenlty instructed to purchase the wrong version and have been having problems with my computer ever since. 

I am very comfortable with the computer and consider myself a bit more advanced than the average user.  I became very frustrated when I couldn't troubleshoot...

Trend Micro Pccillin is a definite plus. I have had it for over a year now. I love the features  on it.  One of my favorite things about this is it has optional parental controls by configuring the url filter.  With me having 2 kids at home it's a must to keep them safe while they're online.  Not only does it keep them safe but it also does that for my computer.  I don't ever see me having any other security for my computer.  This a program that you can buy at your local office store or online and I am fond of that because of convenience for everyone.  Pccillin is easily installed... review »

I grew tired and impatient with Norton products and subscribed to Consumer Reports for answers to many purchase questions.  The Trend Micro was the number recommended by far.  I purchased a copy of Trend Micro and have been using for 10 months now and found it to be superior in every way to all other Firewall/Virus protections on market.  Being a Supervisor in a manufacturing enviroment I have the opportunity to converse with many private computer owners.  I have found numerous complaints with ALL other products which I do not share.  Trend Micro does not slow down computer, misses a lot less...

I HAVE TRIED MOST OF THE OTHER INTERNET SECURITY SYSTEMS.  MOST ARE 'IN YOUR FACE' ALL TOO OFTEN.  TREND MICRO HAS A SYSTEM THAT NOT ONLY WORKS GREAT AT DETECTING AND REMOVING SPYWARE AND VIRUS BUT DOES IS MOSTLY IN THE BACKGROUND.  IT HAS NOT INTERFERED WITH ANYTHING I HAVE LOADED ON THE COMPUTERS.  IT IS NOT ALWAYS COMING UP WITH SOMETHING I NEED TO DO RIGHT AWAY.  I BOUGHT THE 3 COMPUTER PROGRAM.  I JUST INSTALLED IT ON MY 3RD COMPUTER.  THE ZONE ALARM ON IT HAD NOT EXPIRED BUT IT WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY.
