I am a firm believer in walking at least an hour a day (OK- less if I absolutely don't have time, but the incline is UP for the whole walk then!) My Proform worked wonderful for the first few months, but then I noticed an issue with the motor suddenly switching from smooth to sluggish and jerking back and forth from there to fast and slow again. If I kept the speed down- at around 4 mph- then it would usually come out of it, but if I tried to speed up past that, it would start again. Then this past winter my power incline just gave out! I walk two miles everyday on this treadmill. I absolutely love it! It has great shock absorbency, so it is very friendly to your knees. I Have used this treadmill and really like it. I am a daily walker, and run three to four times a week. I like to run on this treadmill because the track is a good sized one, versus some gyms and other treadmills have the skinny treads and that makes me feel like I have to hold on when I am trying to run incase i vear off and fly off the treadmill. My wife and I have owned a 380X for over 5 years. This treadmill been very reliable and is well constructed. We both use it daily for a minimum of 30 minutes and have gone as long an one hour. The machine maintains a count of calories and fat as well as the distance traveled. The flex handles are useful for upper body exercise and complement the overall effectiveness of the workout.
