Great at styling, damages hair quickly tough.

I have had my InStyler for over a year. In my opinion works just as good if not better then a regular ceramic hair straightener. Whenever I style my hair with the Instyler my hair stays styled for the whole day without having to touch it up once. The rotating iron and the brush attached to it get my hair super smooth, and very volumized as well. My hair even looks really shiny afterwards as well. Now for the downside. Although the Instyler makes my hair look really great, even with the heat protection I use, it has given me a lot of split ends. Over time it has made my hair very prone to breakage, dry, and fried looking. I know you can get damage from any hair styling tools but I feel like the InStyler has made my hair much worse, because it uses such high heat and even at the lowest point it is still very hot. I wish they had the option like other hair straighteners to choose the exact temperature you want to use. I still use my Instyler, and it still works very well, but I only use it in moderation and not as much as I used to, because the damage can get pretty bad. Effectiveness It does a great job at styling and straightening my hair. The great thing is, is that the style holds for the whole day, so it works amazing in the styling aspect. The bad news it that the Instyler has caused a lot of damage to, and fried my hair. It gave me more split ends then I ever had before, even if I use a heat protectant. I've never got as bad of split ends from another hair straightener before. Durability Although it doesn't look like it would be very durable, and the plastic looks cheap, mine has held up very well even after dropping it. I have had mine for over a year now, I use it almost everyday, I have dropped it on several occasions, and it is still going strong. I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever.

Wasn't sure if it was going to rip my hair out or burn it off.

I'm not sure what the inventors of Tre Milano In Styler: The Rotating Iron were thinking. I have naturally curly hair and have always straightened it since I was in middle school. Back in high school I decided to ask for this as a gift. I watched the In Styler commercials probably 100 times and thought it looked pretty cool. First, it came with NO instructions. That's helpful huh? So I let it heat up, which is did very quickly and I gave it a try. The In Styler gets HOT. EXTREMELY HOT. There is also no place to grab it where it's not hot. If you get it near your scalp, wow, you're going to feel it. Cross your fingers you never touch your scalp with it. It likes to get your hair all tangled as well. It was fun trying to pull my hair out of the bristles when the device was super hot. I expected my first few times using it to be a little rough until I got the hang of it. No, thats literally how it was every time. Extreme heat, hair pulling, trying to untangle hair. It didn't straighten hair well at all. It left it bumpy at best. Getting my hair partially ripped out or burnt off is NOT worth weird bumpy hair. If they still sell this product, DO NOT BUY IT. Ever. It will not only burn you but also tangle your hair like crazy.

If you want your hair pulled out, buy this!

This product is almost completely worthless. I purchased this after seeing something about it online and thinking that it would be more effective than my curling irons and straightener irons when it came to doing my hair but I was completely wrong. This product will pull and tug on your hair so bad eventually you'll end up throwing it away. The hairs get caught in the bristles and get so entangled in that product that it ends up taking you more time to do your hair and you still need your additional hair styling tools. It won't straighten properly, it will leave lumps and waves that just look a wreck. It also feels very cheap and is not high quality. The colors to the product are cute and it's a cute design but that's all that its good for. Effectiveness Will tangle your hair. This product doesn't work at all like it's supposed to and is more hassle than its worth. You will need other styling tools to fix your hair if you attempt to use this to style it. Durability Cute design, cheap quality. Doesn't feel like it would hold up if dropped.

Not what I expected

My sister bought this for me after seeing the commercials for this supposedly awesome product. At first, I was happy with this product but then after about a month or so I noticed some issues with it. The part that spins is very loud and almost intimidating. The product got way too hot and after a little while a burning smell started coming from this rotating iron. It smelled like it was going to catch on fire or something. I haven't used it since. I definitely can't recommend this.

Thought it would be great...

I bought this iron because I thought it would be wonderful because sometimes my hair gives my problems when I am trying to style it. Well the first time I ever used it and it tangled in my hair, I honestly thought I was going to have to cut my hair in order to get it to come lose. I thought well maybe my hair is tangling and wanted to try it again and the same thing happened again, I was like goodness so I packaged it up and haven't used it since.

An okay product but not the best

The In Styler was an okay rotating iron at the time but after using a regular flat iron this one did not do to good on a job on my hair. It did flow through my hair pretty easily which was nice. Effectiveness Had to go over my hair multiple times to get my hair straight Durability Had no problems

Not what you see on TV

So I am a bi-racial female age 28, I have hair just past my shoulders and it is CURLY! I have spent my whole life trying to get my hair straight like my mothers but have had NO LUCK without using some harsh chemical to realx it. I bought my first Chi flat iron and was impressed. By far it had done the best of all flat irons I had used before. Then late one night I see some chick I recognized from American Idol on some late night informercial. But this one caught my eye. And with the payment plan and the "buy one get one free" offer I just could not resist. When they arrived in the mail I was instantly attracted to it. It has a sleek design unlike any other straightening tools I had ever seen. So I began and I will admit it does a nice job at straightening but NOTHING LIKE THE COMMERCIAL SHOWED! It has something weird going on at the end that keeps getting little hairs stuck in it and ripping them out of my head. One thing I can say is when I use it in conjunction with my Chi it helps a lot so its not a total loss. If perhaps you have hair that is a bit less curly than mine it should work fine but those of us who need a miracle to get straight hair we are still gonna have to wait.

Hated the In Styler!!! Not what I expected at all!!

I purchased the In Styler after seeing it numerous times on the television, I thought that it would cut my straightening time in half.  It did not take any time off!!  I thought maybe because it was my first time using the item I would try it again thinking maybe I was would get the hang of it my time would get better.  It did not!!!  I tried it several times before I finally decided to return it!!  My sister had tried it at a friends house and raved about it.  I think it works a lot better if you have someone to help you with it.  One of the reason's why I bought this item was the selling point that the hair did not have to be completely dried to use but even with my hair being completely dried I still struggled with it!!  I would rather use my trusty flat iron even though the hair must be completely dried to avoid damage to it I rather know that the money I invested in the product is worth it and will get it's use!!

In Styler Intellect

I just got my In Styler a couple of days ago and in my opinion it is no worse than any other curling iron. I love it! You just gotta know how to curl your hair while being careful with a "hot" object. Come on ladies...what moron would allow their child to use this alone, when you yourselves are getting burned and you're adults. Gesh...it's your own fault if they are getting burned... can you say..un-supervised use? Please...hot objects are "not" for children: Stoves, Irons, boiling water... hense the word "HOT". Don't dis the In Styler simply because you may very well not have coordination. Practice with a regular curling iron first, perhaps one that has very limited heat and then move on to the big guns... Come on let's play fair...*MFB-C*

Hallelujahs for the Tre Milano In Styler!  I am a busy mom with thick curly hair.  I have been on a quest for a straightener that will straighten my hair in a hurry and not burn it to a crisp.  I can finally stop looking now that I have discovered the Tre Milano In Styler. I have a limited amount of time in the day to fuss with my hair, with the Tre Milano In Styler the straightening part of the process is really quick and easy.  The best part of this appliance is that it offers other styling options that I never thought I would have the time or the skill to accomplish.  I am able to style long wavy loose curls that look like I spent all day on my hair, in just minutes.  I am also able to get my hair perfectly straight and sleek in half the amount of time it took with my previous straightener. The Tre Milano In Styler comes with a stylish carrying bag and a wonderful pamphlet with style tips and great instructions on how to style the hair.  It even has a wet to dry option, that I will admit I am hesitant to try due to potential hair damage, although I have not noticed any damage from using the appliance on an almost daily basis on the other settings.
