Travelers cut our monthly car insurance payment in half! I had Allstate for 7 years and we just changed to Travelers about a year ago, after receiving a quote online. All of the folks I have spoken to in Customer Service have been very knowledgeable and helpful and kind. In addition I was recently involved in a car accident and they have been very helpful. Ironically the at fault driver has Allstate and Allstate was so hard to deal with and rude that I had to hire a lawyer to represent me.

TRAVELERS HOME INSURANCE AS SOLD THROUGH GEICO-obtained through a salesman on the phone.

I had perfectly good insurance but wanted to get one for less.  Travelers salesman through GEICO gave me a quote.  So,I canceled my old insurace and then took Travelers.  ONLY AFTER I CANCELED was I told that an appraiser was coming to look at the house but "only to check square footage." Appraiser came out and claimed roof was in bad shape (I had it looked at in February and a roofer told me it was OK. That I could repair it to make it look better but otherwise t was OK).  Now they want roof replaced...

We weren't happy with Traveler's after Hurricane Rita (Sept '05), but it was the first time we'd ever filed a homeowner's claim, so we stayed with them. Hurricane Ike (Sept. '08) hit us hard.

My contractor was ready to start at the end of September, but we were waiting for money from the insurance company. We could not afford to pay for everything up front and wait to be reimbursed. Our tough luck.

I have been with Travelers Insurance for almost 2 years. I have a homeowner's and an auto insurance policy with them.  When I switched to this company from Farmer's insurance back in 2007, they were already going to save me a little more than $130.00 per month...YAY!  I was already sold.  I mean...who is not excited about saving money? Of course I switched!  Well...2008 was a very trying year for my husband and I. We experienced a break in at our home, and a car accident within 2 months of each other around holiday time.

I think it is just my local Travelors insurance in Naples.  They don't seem to know what they are doing.  They call me and tell me they are missing documents all the time and say they made mistakes on my policy.  Luckily I have never been in a car wrech so I never had to depend on them too much.

My car was totalled last week and Traveler's helped throught the entire ordeal. Although they were a little slow to contact me at first after the claim was filed, they really had great service.

TRAVELERS AUTO AND HOMEOWNER INSURANCE COMPANY HAS GREAT RATES, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INCREDIBLE CLAIMS SERVICE.  THEY OFFER SEVERAL PAYMENT PLANS, GIVE DISCOUNTS FOR HAVING MORE THAN ONE POLICY WITH THEM, BEING A FIRST TIME HOME BUYER, SMOKE DETECTORS FOR YOUR HOME, HAVING MULTIPLE VEHICLES.  IF YOU ARE A LONG TIME CUSTOMER, AND MISS A PAYMENT, THEY ARE VERY UNDERSTANDING AND ALLOW A LATE PAYMENT.  THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT IS INCREDIBLE.  THEY DON'T TAKE A LONG TIME TO CONTACT YOU AFTER A LOSS.  THEY WILL DISCUSS ANY PROBLEMS YOU HAVE WITH THE LOSS.  IF IT IS AN AUTO ACCIDENT, THEY USUALLY...

Travelers Group is not a company that I really trust.  A few years ago back in 2001, my car was stolen out of McDonald's parking lot in Hartsville, SC.  Travelers wouldn't pay for the damages that was created after I found the car striped of parts, mainly the high tech motor that was installed in the car at the time of purchased.
