Travelers is an easy insurance company to deal with. That is, until you have been hit whether the person hitting you is insured by them, or even when they are your insurer. They will do everything they can to make your life miserable. You might as well hire a lawyer as soon as the accident occurs because this insurance company will force you to do that anyway. It is companies like this that make insurance so expensive. When all you want is for them to cover the costs of an accident (medical bills and repairs) from which you are deemed to have no fault, they will start to pay, then as soon as an MRI is required, they will stop paying and even lie (making claims at attempts to contact you when no such attempts have ever been made)..even though you got prior approval from them for the MRI. That seems to be where they draw the line. Reminds me of the book by John Grisham where the insurance company has a policy of denying all claims on the first attempt hoping people are stupid enough to pay the bills themselves.
