We were headed to China last year around this time but we had to cancel because of my mom. We were going on a tour and although I don't want to give my money to China my husband wants to go very much. Now we are seriously talking about Israel with another couple. I'm not terrified (like I am re: 9/11 in our country) but I wonder about going with a tour (do they target big groups) or going on our own?

I also would avoid Mexico:) Thoughts?
