I'm looking for some fun things to do in Central and Northern Vermont.  Our familiy will be vacationing in the Waterbury area.  We've already reserved a site at a campground and want to do some day trips perhaps to the Burlington area.

Can anyone recommend some places (attractions and restaurants) to go to or stay away from?
