I really like Pittsburgh. They certainly call it the City of Bridges for a reason. You'll see many stretched across the river running through downtown. You HAVE to have a Primanti Brothers sandwich while you're there!!! Don't leave until you do. Prepare your arteries though. Primanti's piles on your choice of meat then french fries, cold slaw & tomatoes. Yes, they put the fries on the sandwich. Brilliant! Go to the original restaurant on "The Strip." Oh I was just coming to say the same thing!!!  I love these sandwiches.  But heed the warning... do not go to the strip after dusk.  It gets a little scary after that.  This is also a WONDEFUL shopping area, definitely some interesting shops there.
