Most HelpfulTransformers, they were not around when I was growing up but I being a cartoon buff, I remember well the cartoon I used to watch in my twenties. The carton was hit and miss and hard to catch on television, but the story is as old as human kind: good (The Autobots led by Optimus Prime) versus evil (The...

Most HelpfulTransformers was one of my childhood favorites; I had all the action figures, even Sam and Mikaela. I first heard about this movie while watching Clerks 2 but, I thought it was just something thrown in the movie for dialog and humor. I did a little checking and sure enough, there was a live action Transformers movie in the works. I was excited to say the least.
Plot: A civilization of robots are searching the galaxy for something called the All Spark. The All Spark can rebuild their civilization and return it to its former glory and it just so happens that it crashed landed on the Earth. The good...
Unbelievable! This movie surprised the heck out me. I had no idea what I was in store for. I was beyond pleased. The special effects are truly one of a kind and will definitely set the standards high for other films. The humor was funny and on-target. The writing and graphics were very creative. I had to get this movie for my kids for Christmas. Actually Santa did! This lead kid has mega talent. He was born to act and does it effortlessly. Way to go!!! Clean, fun and definitely entertaining ~

However, due to a fight by Michael Bay, the rating was reduced to PG-13. (My husband is a Transformers geek, therefore I knew about the fight over the rating before the movie even hit the theaters.) Transformers had the audience cheering audibly when Bumblebee convinced...
As a fan of the original series, I loved the movie. While the movie took some liberty with the back-story of the origins of the Transformers - i.e. what is their purpose on Earth, when did they arrive - it is largely true to the cartoon. The transform process was smooth. It was actually more believable to see the vehicles transform into humanoid forms in the movie than it was in the cartoon...I always wondered what happened to Prime's trailer when he transformed... The action scenes were well done, though it was sometimes hard to keep track of which figures were Autobots and which were...
