Although my husband and I usually wait for the DVD's to come out, we actually went to the theater to see this one.  The noise was astonishing for someone used to controlling the level on the TV.  But this was a really good movie.  I really got  caught up in the action and felt so bad for Bumble Bee!  I am a 61 year old grandmother of 10 - those kids would have really gotten a good laugh at seeing me there!  It was worth the trip to the theater, and my ears survived!!!
