Transformers Review

Clearly a movie for guys... which isn't always a good thing.  This movie had a lot of hype that created a lot of expectation among its viewers.  While fan boys were probably moderately pleased, the general public was treated to another helping of Independence Day minus Wil Smith.  In his place was a sarcastic teenager and some supermodel soldiers.

What really ruined this movie were the unnecessary shots of someone's cleavage that happened every five minutes or so.  Again, the fanboys may not have minded but it became obvious after the fifth attempt that this was to make up for some uncertainty about the movie standing on its own legs.  Throw in a rather repulsive conversation between a teenage boy and his parents about sexual matters and this flick went downhill fast.

Redeeming any shred of this is the special effects and clash of the metal titans.  How much things were redeemed, though, is still up in the air.
