Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was an incredibly disappointing movie. As someone who absolutely loved the first Transformers flick by Michael Bay, I thought this movie could have been so much better. Sure, there were lots of explosions and fancy CGI effects, and lots of robot on robot violence (which is cool, don't get me wrong), but the story made absolutely no sense. None. Whatsoever.
The holes in the plot are big enough to drive Optimus Prime through. For some reason, the Transformers have been on Earth since pre-historic times. Also, despite the fact that the climatic battle at the end of the first film took place in a heavily poulated city, somehow, two years later, nobody outside the military knows of the Transformers existence. And for some reason, every character in the movie, with the exception of Optimus Prime, Shia Lebouf, Megan Fox, and some of the Decepticons exist only to provide comic relief. And why does one of the little Transformers start humping Megan Fox's leg? Do robots reproduce sexually now?
