At the risk of sounding like my mother, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, ever needs to be THAT loud or THAT bright. I have wanted to see the Trans-Siberain Orchestra since I first heard their music a couple of years ago and had the opportunity last Saturday night. Unfortunately, I was horrified at the whole experience. Sitting in a dark arena with blindingly bright lights being repeatedly flashed in my eyes, just isn't me idea of a good time. Neither is having my ear drums abused. I can honestly say that the TSO concert was louder than an Alanis Morrisette show I went to a few years back (and it was really loud).

All in all, I was terribly disappointed and will stick to listening to TSO CD's in the future.
