I would never have considered purchasing beauty products from a grocery chain, but a friend swore by this line so I figured I would give it a try. This is a wonderful body wash. It has a bit of a lather, but not over the top. It does have a sort of tingle feeling to it because of the ingredients, especially the peppermint oil and eycalyptus oil. The price is right and you feel like you are using a product that should have cost a lot more. Overall a wonderful product and one I continue to use. Effectiveness This body wash is extremely effective at leaving you with a clean and refreshed feel. My skin felt invigorated! Ease of Application It is extremely easy once you get used to how much you need to get the desired "froth" It took one time of using too much and another time of not using enough before I mastered the right amount. It is even easier if you use something like a bath sponge or loofa. Scent This has a clean and refreshing scent to it. It doesn't linger which is nice because I like to use a different brand of lotion and perfume and don't want the scents to compete.

This is the only body wash I use, and it lasts me a pretty long time, which makes a great product at a very reasonable price. Also, they are really not kidding about the tingle, but it's a nice sensation! Effectiveness It cleans my skin very well and leaves my skin feeling soft and tight (in a good, unpainful way). I think the peppermint in the wash acts as a drying astringent, so it's great for someone who gets a little oily sometimes. (But it might be a bit harsh on drier skin, FYI!) Ease of Application Applying is very easy, so long as you have a loofah (a washcloth would probably work, too). Trying to apply it with just my hands is a bit difficult and I have to use more than usual to feel like I've really gotten clean. But to apply with a loofah, I just get it wet and then add just a little of the body wash and start rubbing, and it quickly foams up and allows me to easily spread it all over my body. Scent With the peppermint oil being one of the top ingredients, you might expect it to smell like a candy cane or something, but it really doesn't. It's minty, certainly, but it's earthier and not really reminiscent of food. It's very pleasant all the same, and actually nice to sniff at when you've got a stuffed nose.

I have complained about some Trader Joe's products, but I actually do like their Tea Tree Tingle body wash. It smells good, it works well.. it even helps you breathe better if you have a cold. You know how you can't breathe as well when you are under the weather with a clogged nose and phlegmy lungs. But minty thinks help you breathe better, such as when you chew minty gum and it creates each breath in to be felt stronger with a cooling sensation. Well this tea tree tingle soap has that minty bite to it, and gives the same affect of the minty chewing gum to help you breathe better (especially with the healthy steam from the hot water) and it feels as if it is applied to your whole body. As if your pores are breathing better as well. You kind of feel extra clean with such a sensation; which is great! Especially since you tend to feel so gross no matter what when you are sick. So I highly recommend this to anyone who has a cold/flu/etc and needs a pick me up. It's kind of like Vicks vapor rub, but in soap form!
