I am a vegetarian, so I make a lot of vegetarian based soups. This vegetable broth from Trader Joe's is a winner because it makes a great base for soups and tastes great. I love the flavors of the vegetables in this broth, and it is a little thicker than other broth bases I have tried. The ingredients are fresh and pure. They make their broths from locally grown produce that is grown with no harmful chemicals or pesticides so you know you are getting good ingredients. The broth contains no MSG and is really healthy because it is low in calories and fat. I love the great flavor of the tomato and spices and it is so easy to use. It comes in a carton with a resealable cap, so you just use the amount needed and then it seals up for freshness between uses. The broth sells for about $2.50 and can be used in so many ways. I love adding a few cups of my own vegetables to the broth, then I just cook and serve. This also works great in stuffing and other vegetarian dishes. Not only does this broth have a lot of flavor, but being organic, you can feel good about serving it.
