Trader Joe's has solved both problems with their Organic Frozen Brown Rice, which comes in microwaveable pouches which cook the rice perfectly. The texture of the rice is consistantly chewy and flavorable, never mushy, which makes it perfect to add to soups or stir frys. The packages cook in three minutes, producing nearly perfect rice, which makes it invaluable for mealplanners in a hurry.
