Anyone who has shopped at Trader Joe's knows that there is always something new and tasty to come across.  My favorite late night snack would be the Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies.

Now these cookies are a bit high on the calorie content about 120 calories per 2 cookies, but I say what's an extra half mile on the tread mill in the morning because I can eat an entire box in one sitting.  They are probably the most yummy cookies that I have had in a long time.

There is a piece of chocolate in every bite and always a piece of Macadamia Nut in each cookie.  They are great by themselves or with milk.  I personally dump them in a bowl and leave them out for about 36 hours uncovered so that they get just a tad bit soft from sitting out.  I find them to be a bit crispy when first opened.

The only complaint I have about these cookies is that I find I have to buy 2 or 3 boxes at a time in order to be satisfied with the amount.  But for 1.99$ ( at least that's what they cost at my Trader Joe's ) I don't mind the added cost.

4 out of 5

I think that would absolutely help.... But I like to tell my friends that since I bought my treat at Trader Joes the calories don't count... Since TJ is supposed to be good for you. Funky logic I know :-)

Kiddo, your cookyfests aren't secret anymore. But TJ's cookies do that to all of us. I even have CRACKERfest with some of their crackers. I don't have a treadmill, but my walk home from TJ's is, literally, uphill all the way. That should help a little. You think?

Trader Joe's rocks, I am lucky enough to have one about 5 blocks from my place. I am there at least 5 times a week. Pick yourself up a nice treat next time you are there!

I have been to traders joes but haven't tried these cookies. I'll have to make sure the next time I'm there to pick up some. I shop there for my Grandson who has Aspergers Syndrome. They have plenty of food there for him to eat, gluton free. I never thought about all the good things that I could buy for myself. Thanks for sharing.
