If you only need a phone for emergencies than this is the one to get. It's less expensive than anything else I've found on the market and the minutes don't expire for a year. No monthly service fees - just charges for calling, texting, etc.

The biggest problem with this company is their customer service. Very little can be done online and when you call customer service you end up trying to decipher the English coming out of their accent. Also, if you lose or damage your phone they don't allow you to transfer your already paid for minutes to your new phone.

I never have experienced a lot of dropped calls but I've never been able to get it to work at my house even though Verizon will most of the time.
