Trace Adkins - You're gonna Miss This Reviews

This song "You're Gonna Miss This" is a true blue country song and it hits home too. 

Trace Adkins has great music and this particular song just sums up my life and the life my kids are embarking on as well. I can remember telling my mom how I wished certain things would hurry up and get here or hurry up and go away. And she'd always tell me; When you're older, you'll miss this, so you might as well enjoy it now while it lasts because it'll be over soon enough. And you'll never get it back. She was so right!

Now I'm a mom and my kids start talking about how they wish time would hurry up or that...

you're gonna miss this is so true. my kids are only 9, 11, 14 and i already miss so many things that they used to do or the way things used to be with raising them.  time flies way to fast.  it seems like we just brought them home from the hospital and before long we wil have colleges to choose and weddings to plan.  this song totally captures that feeling, and trace sings it with such conviction that  the listener knows he's been in those shoes.

I recently purchased Trace Adkins greatest hits.  I fell in love with his singing all over again, Ladies love country boys, and songs about me are my favorites.  None outweigh his current hit, You're gonna miss this.  At first I didn't recognize his voice without the usual growling.  He is letting it all hang out with this song.  Even if you're not a Trace Adkins fan, you will love his greatest hits CD.

 I love this song everytime it comes on I think of my 7 year old son and how fast those years have gone by.  Often we let life take control and dont take time to stop and enjoy the moment that we are in.
