I have been going to Toys R Us since I was a little kid myself.  Well let me tell you.  It has gone WAY DOWN HILL!!!!  First of all, they are hard to find.  There are not many of them left.  They are all really dirty.  They are definitely in need of some updating!!  And the return policy is getting more and more strict.  I can understand there is a limited amount of time to return something.  Even though it;s sister store has NO TIME FRAME, which is amazing!  But it isn't even that - if you don't have a receipt they will not take anything… read full review »

I personally love toys r us. There are two located within 45 minutes of my home. They have great sales all the time but sometimes it hard to find the discounted items as they arent in a specific spot like they used to have them instead they are with similar items according to what toys they are. The one has a changing station for mothers. Its a good sized room that is clean and has a loveseat and lots of chairs. They also have a changing table with wipes and diapers they provide. This toy store is great the one by my house they just changed around so it is easier to navigate. Have a kid that you are searching for a present for? This is the place for you! They seem to have everything from clothes to toys to video games they have it all. It is the greatest toy store ever! Plus they have a great selection of toys that are stocked on the shelves arranged by age group which is really handy for those of us with not too much time on our hands. I have sworn many times that I would never go back to Toys R Us, only to find myself there again looking for some "exclusive" toy you can only get at Toys R Us. My sons love Star Wars and Toys R Us gets a lot of those "exclusive" toys, but it just isn't worth it anymore. The store is full of employees standing around doing nothing, so why is only one register open? The employees are rude, and beyond unhelpful!  Ok, I'm ot toof ond of the whole warranty that they issue. I have 2 boys ages 5 and 7 I know they are not the most careful with their toys. I buy them nintendo ds, and pay 25 dollars for each warranty. What they failled to tell me is that if anything happens in the first year you havet o go through nintendo, ok fine, but TRU doesn't have a working number for them. Then when you go to return it after the year, they give you the hardest time and the service knows nothing about how to handle the warranty that they sell.
