Toyota Yaris - 2008 Review Summary

The 2008 Toyota Yaris is best known for being a vehicle that gets great gasoline mileage. The Yaris is a small car that is great for commutes or daily driving. Owners of the ’08 Toyota Yaris love the comfort and the little extras such as 3 shoulder belts in the rear seat for seat belts instead of lap belts. On the downside, the Toyota Yaris 2008 model has options that all come in packages, which can get expensive. See what owners are saying about other Toyota models.

The gas mileage is to great!! Bought the Yaris in May to replace my Jimmy and so far its the best decision Ive made this year. I drive 64 miles a day  to and from work and although the Jimmy got ok gas mileage the price for a fill-up was killing my bank account!! I get an average of 41 mpg interstate...

The Toyota Yaris has a hideous interior and it's pretty ugly on the outside too. Toyota has these packages you have to choose where your paying for stuff you might not want! There are options A-F and the closer you get to F the more they cost. For example to get ABS you have to go with option C $1,990... read full review »

My husband drives the Yaris mostly, but we love it. It drives well and he gets nearly 40 mpg if he drives near to the speed limit. If he is driving like a racecar driver, flooring it, cutting in and out of traffic...he gets about 35-38 mpg.

It is an awesome car. We got the basic model, two door. The interior is great...no complaints on that.

I love the fact that the backseat has a shoulder belt in all three spots! We have three small kids so this is awesome.

We had a Ford Taurus and now we are spending 50% less per month on gas. This amounts to nearly $150 a month in savings!

My husband works 45 miles...

This car is great.  The fuel mileage is unbelievable and it is just cute as a button.  As small as it may seem on the outside, it is actually very roomy on the inside.  I do have to say though, it is not the most comfortable car out there.  I'm willing to give up the comfort for all the other great features that this car has.

The Toyota Yaris liftback is a great little car.  It is bigger than a Mini Cooper and has more storage room. It gets real good gas mileage without paying the extra bucks for a hybrid car (29 city, 35 freeway).  The Yaris is very reasonably priced.  In fact, it is one of the lowest priced cars on the market and it is a Toyota.

My daughter loves her car...it is cute and zips around nicely.  Plus, it's a Toyota.  How could you go wrong?!

I have been shopping for a new vehicle.  The Toyota Prius is way out of my league finance wise.  So my husband and I have been looking at the Toyota Yaris.  Everything I see about this vehicle makes me believe it is the car for me.  It is an attainable goal financing wise.  I'm excited about getting this vehicle for my own driving pleasure.

Amazing gas milage!!!!  I get 41 miles to a gallon highway and 35ish city driving!  It is roomy enough to fill up with 5 passengers and comfortable for long car rides.  I have yet to have any problems and I really enjoy driving my Yaris around!
