When I saw the 2006 Solara, it was the only car I had seen that would make me trade in my Mazda 6.  Loved it on the test drive although I wasn't a fan of the cloth interior.  Made the trade and began driving it every day.  Nice ride, but being a highway driver, during the summer months I prefer to drive with the windows down rather than using the a.c.  In this car that's impossible.  Not sure if it's the aerodinamics of the vehicle, but the wind coming into the car on the highway pushed the strap on my seatbelt so tight it nearly choked me.  I tried lowering the belt but to no avail.
Also, the stereo system in the vehicle was quite poor.  Traded it in 6 months later for my Jeep!
