I love my '06 Toyota Sienna.  I think my favorite features are the keyless remote opening doors & rear hatch, the stow-away rear seats, and the set-up of the dashboard/control panels.  I don't ever want to have another van that doesn't have the remote to open the doors, especially with 2 small children and another one on the way!

There are oodles of cup holders, tons of storage compartments, lots of storage in the rear, and my model (XLE) has a really classy-looking woodgrain accent in the interior.  I have the captains' chairs in the 2nd row, so pass-through to the rear is easy and I don't...

We considered a Honda Odyssey but the 8th seat is a very small child size fold up seat. We needed and adult sized seat.  I purchased the Toyota Sienna for one reason only.... A full size 8th seat. No matter what we are doing we were always ONE seat short. Sure their are SUV's out there that seat 8 and some of them 9 people but with half the gas mileage the van gets. We are a family of 5. We are always on the go with the kids who always need to bring a friend along. When we had our 7 passenger van. One of our kids couldnt bring someone. Now they all can have a friend with them. I also pick up and...

I bought my Sienna right after the birth of my first child.  I had a small two door car and wanted something that would be more convenient to get kids in and out of and have room to store their gear (I couldn't even fit the travel system stroller in my old car's trunk)

We test drove several minivans and decided on the Sienna.  I has a lot of room (made a trip from Florida to Chicago and Christmas with 4 adults and an infant (plus luggage, baby gear and presents) in total comfort.

Would be nice if center seats stowed in the floor, although I haven't really needed to stow them.  Tha rear seat...

We have two small children and love our 2006 Sienna. We have the 8-passenger LE model, and one of us drives, while the other sits between the kids. We consistently get a fraction over 20 MPG, which is pretty good for a 4300 lb. vehicle, and far better than any comparable-sized SUV. The 5-speed auto keeps the rpms low when cruising on the freeway. My wife loves the high-up seating, and swears that she will never buy another 'car'. My only gripe is the lack of full-size spare well. The compact spare is under the van in a location that only fits a compact spare, so if you have a flat, you will need... read full review »

After my Dodge Caravan started breaking on a regular basis (only took 2 days after it was paid off), and began costing more to maintain than a new car payment, I decided it would be better to get a van based on quality, not what was cheapest! With my Toyota Sienna, I have not been disappointed at all. Not only do I have the quality, but more safety features come standard. I was able to buy on '06 model in December of '06, because everyone was busy buying Hondas. Yes, I looked at the Honda, but there were a LOT of things I didn't like about it. I was able to get an awesome deal on my Toyota, and... read full review »

Toyota Sienna - 2006 is well engineered. Smooth drive, small turning radius, quiet. Gas mileage is not so great though, 20 mpg winter, 23 summer, highway/local mixed. I prefer LE even though I bought XLE. The leather seats are good looking and that's it. They are hot in summer and icey in winter. The seat heater is nice but the wife does not like it because it causes wrinkles on pants. The sun roof is useless in the north in my view. Overall it is a very good car and number 1 in the market in my view (better than Hunda - I test drove both). Just make your buy decision based on your need.

The 2006 Toyota Sienna has a lot of room.  We thought we wanted to buy the Honda Odyssey until we test drove it and took a closer look.  We are a family of 6 so having 8 full seats was important to us.  The Honda middle seat is only large enough for a small child and not an adult.  We knew we'd outgrow that van much quicker than the Toyota.  We also like being able to remove the middle seat on road trips so that 2 kids can easily get in the back and two can sit in the middle row.  No fighting!  Cost wise they are about the same.

We lost our Camry in an accident (no one was seriously hurt, thank goodness), so we were looking to replace the family car.  I pushed for a mini van, much to my DH's discomfort.  We have the leather interior - a must with kids.  It cleans up like a dream.  We also chose to get AWD, which kills the gas mileage, but we travel in the winter quite often.  I have appreciated the ability to change the seating arrangements in the cabin at a moment's notice.  It is very versatile.

Toyota is the leader in vehicle quality and the Sienna is the top of the line in mini-vans. It has the luxury that anyone would want and the dependebility that all need. The Toyota Sienna has an appealling appearance and is very comfortable to drive.

I purchased my van in 2007 and never had a single problem with it. It has lasted through many long trips and is still running strong. The interior is tough enough to handle my three very active kids with no issues.

I never thought that I'd be in a van.  Due to the ages of my children...and all of them needing car seats....I am so glad we chose our 2006 Toyota Sienna.  It's comfortable, dependable and convienent.
