Toyota Prius - 2007 —
We got one of the first second genration Priuses. Absolutely love it. Only wish we had gotten it with GPS. We average 41 mpg with mostly city driving. Neighbors across the street have a Honda Civic hybrid and it has about the same mileage. It feels good to have the engine shut off at a stoplight or long line at the Costco gas station. Trunk space is good but not outstanding. Driving is incredibly peppy - of course you then sacrifice gas if you want to go fast. Have never felt that there was not enough power.
