I have had my Prius for over five years now. I loved it when I first bought it (when hybrids were rare - I would often come back to my parked car to find people gathered around it, trying to see what it was), and I still love it now.

My car has about 70,000 miles on it, and it still runs just fine. I've had almost no problems with it (there was a weird thing with the key refusing to come out of the ignition, but that was fixed under warranty). I get about 45 mpg average during the summer (averaged over a tank's worth of driving) and maybe 37 mpg in the winter, when the car tends to spend a lot... read full review »

I highly recommend this vehicle, it is a true hybrid with battery power. Every time you brake it charges the battery for the engine to run. It is very quiet and fuel effecient. This is not like the old hybrids that you have to plug in, it is easy to drive, looks very nice and does not bite you in your billfold! Test drive one, you will love it.
