Toyota Matrix - 2005 Reviews

I bought this car to get better gas mileage and to feel cool!  I get comments from people all the time that tell me they like my car! 

I like that the back is spacious enough to keep luggage when traveling and files for day to day teaching.  No lifting in and out of the trunk like most cars.  The gas mileage isn't as great as I would like but better than most. 

The car is spacious for passengers including my nephews!  It also looks cool on the indside and outside and it is fun to drive.

When I decided to get rid of my cushy, but way too big Eddie Bauer edition Ford Explorer, my husband pointed this out as one of the best options for what I was looking for. I need a good amount of storage area, I wanted something much better on gas, and something reliable.

I had heard of Toyota being notoriously reliable, and I agree totally - I have only had one issue with my car, where the lights would not turn off and drain the battery. They took care of it and it has been problem free ever since.

The storage area is amazing - people can not believe how much I can fit in the back on this car!...

When the cost of gas started climbing, my husband and I decided our truck was more of a burden than ever.  I researched cars online looking for something with good gas mileage and a good price.  I found the Matrix.

We average about 30 miles to the gallon and I love it!  Two of our children are still in carseats so it's a tight fit for the 3 of them.  I think that's our only con here, though.  It runs well.  It handles well.  Very easy to drive and pretty easy on the eyes, too.

I would definitely recommend the Matrix to folks who were looking for a vehicle with better gas mileage, but not...
