I'm the practicle car owner of the family. My husband owns the sports car and I own the small stationwagon/SUV car. He's always saying to me, "why don't you buy a sports car for your next vehicle, you know it would be more fun to drive?" But then I say back to him, "O.K., whose vehicle do we use to bring the two large dogs to run in the park, to pick up gardening supplies, take for long camping trips etc?" It's my Toyota Matrix! review »Before buying this silver 2004 Matrix used from a local dealer I had never owned a Japanese designed car. I'd had VW's and a Mercedes and plenty of American full sized cars. review »I love this car! I bought it used after I totalled my Toyota Corolla. It's much roomier and more comfortable. It handles well and is fun to drive - I have the 6-speed manual. The gas mileage isn't quite as good as the Corolla, but then again other features make up for it.
The seats are easy to fold down and make a lot of room to haul things. It has ample cup holders and other compartments - I like compartments!
It's a great car!
