Toyota Highlander Hybrid - 2007 Reviews

We bought a Toyota Highlander Hybrid last Fall. Our previous SUV was a Lexus RX300 so we were familiar with Toyota's (they own Lexus...) overall quality/value. The additional upfront cost of the hybrid engine was a concern at first but with the price of gas today we feel we made the right choice. We were filling up our RX300 once a week and now it's every other week with the Highlander Hybrid---same driving patterns. I moved to this car from a BMW 328i because I needed more space and refused to own a mini-van. I love the extra space in this smaller SUV. Can't beat the gas milage given it is a SUV. I typically get anywhere from 25-27 MPG depending on the driving. The fold down third row is wonderful and has come in handy when we need to take more then our two children around.
