if you want to go green and the prius is too small or not safe enough, the highlander hybrid is a great option. the mileage is nowhere near as great as the prius mileage, but it's better than other cars and you're doing something positive for the environment. the third row of seats is very easy to fold up or down and you can make this a 7 seater car. however, it's very hard to get into the third row and once you're there, you're squished.
