My Highlander Experience
We purchased our new Toyota Highlander the middle of May this year. It was kind of spur of the moment, but the other vehicle that we had was starting to nickle and dime us. We had gone out for a ride and went by the local dealership and decided to stop and look around. That turned out to be the best thing we could have done.
After test driving the vehicle two nights in a row we decided to go for it. The price was agreed on and the papers were set in motion. We could pick up our vehicle in the next couple days; what time would we like to be there? The day was picked and the time was set and all was a go.
When we arrived at the dealership our car was in the showroom under a big covering to keep it under wraps for the surprise unveiling. A big sign sitting on it with the word congratulations across it. Amazing little detail that this place does. It really makes you feel special. After all the papers are signed and the owner comes out and shakes hands with you and thanks you for buying, they unveil it and reveal this beautiful black Highlander all shiny and sparkling. What a gorgeous car we have purchased! And there is a coffee mug and mints waiting inside on the seats.
Anyway, we have had the car three months now and have accumulated over 5000 miles. It has been north, south, east and west and we just love it. It turns on a dime with such a small radious that you can't imagine the spots you can get into. It is not a small vehicle, but you would think so.All its features are just as promised, and what a radio system. Eight air bags make it one of the safest cars around and I just can't say enough about it.
Toyota has a great car here and I would say to anyone who is car shopping to give one a try. Lots of room ( we have two basset hounds and a great dane),great sound system, good on gas and mileage, quiet running and just the best!
For a car made in the United States we give it 100 thumbs up. Great job Toyota!
Great pricing too!
