My Toyota Echo gets 40 mpg!!!!

In 2004 I thought I should replace my scary old truck with a newer smaller car, I was a life long Ford owner but thought I should check out my options. I called the ford dealer and asked about the focus, a small car that was said to get good mileage. The man on the phone wouldn't give me a number so I went to the Toyota dealer to look at some used cars. I found this cute little thing called an Echo and I loved it! I have have VERY few problems with it in the past 4 years and I'm still glad I bought it. A great cheap little car!

The Toyota Echo is an inexpensive little ride that is great for the money. There is nothing fancy or showy about the car, what you see is what you get. However with over 170k miles and 7 years of wear my car still holds up like a champ with no major maintenance (other than oil changes, tune ups and a couple cheap belt replacements.) It gets great gas mileage and is a dream commuter car, however, it's a little on the small side if you are considering it for a family car.

I don't care for my Toyota Echo

To start I am very bias because I got ripped off when I bought my car and it has alot of problems. We bought it because of the high gas prices but our evaporation system is messed up. Well setting my bias because of my car aside, My friend has one that I enjoy, but they are very cheaply made, even more so than the corolla. The interier is not very nice and the outside shell is almost like plastic. I would reccommend this to someone, but only for commuting.

I love my Toyota 2002 Echo

I bought my Toyota Echo brand new in 2002. I love my car. I have had to do very little maintenance to it and it gets great gas mileage. I get 30 miles to the gallon in the city and 38 miles to the gallon on the highway. This has been great especially in these high gas price times. I would recommend this car highly.
