Toyota Echo - 2001 Review

The 2001 Toyota Ecko is amazing fuel efficent.  I always use it if I am going on a long ride.  During this resesion I am very greatful that I have it.  That being said the encoviences that it has causes me to drive my other car instead of the Ecko when ever I can.

The small size trunk is often a problem.  I can not even fit a jogging stroller in it.  I have no options in it because I couldn't afford it so I don't know if it is an option or part of the design but the back seats don't fold down.  The fabric is nearly impossible to clean.  The view of the speedometer is horrible.  It is higher up on the dash board in a bubble like cubby.  I have never seen such an inconvienet spot for a speedometer.  When driving in it you feel like you are in a box and could be crushed by something as small as a motorcycle.  Pick up is very slow.

It is a dream to park, fitting in the smallest spaces.  It also makes wonderful U-Turns.

I think as far as looks that it is very cute.
