I have purchased this toyota corolla in September of 2006 at the dealer's special priced deals, you know the ones on the newspaper ads which say 1 or 2 at this price. Well mine was one of the two available at the price of $12,888 and costed me something like $14,100 out the door. In the past year, other than changing oil every 5-8 thousand miles and taking it in for a couple of regular maintenance services, this car costed me nothing other than gas. I did not have to take it in for any warranty covered defects or any other malfunction thatyou can think of. After putting 41,000 miles onto this vehicle in a little more than a year, it still gets 35 mpg in Los Angeles highyway traffic.

I can not say that I am impressed by the style or luxuries in this car (I have the CE model with automatic transmission, which is the rock bottom of the series) but again for the price I paid for a dependable commuter car, I can not complain.
