In October of 06' I was in need of a new car. My wife was driving a 97' Toyota Camry. It has over 125000 miles and is still in good condition. We looked at several cars and finally settled on the 2007 Toyota Camry.
The first and most important reason we settled on the Camry was due to its...

Most HelpfulMy wife and I have purchased nothing but American cars for the 21 years we have enjoyed wedded bliss. The primary driving force was always the lower initial cost versus a higher cost for foreign vehicles.
Well, no more! We bought a 2007 Camry for my beloved wife a few months ago. So far, so good. We are happy with the drive, with the safety record, its gas mileage and its overall design.
If I have to name the reasons I did not give it 5 stars they would be:
1. The "service engine soon" light comes on when you need to change the oil. While that may sound all well and good, it also means...
review »In the tradition of Toyota, the Camry is still a great car. I love the new body styling! The new body style is more similar to its richer cousin--the Lexus. So, I have Lexus styling at a affordable price--great deal. Plus, the Camry continues to have great resale value.
I have only owned Toyota vehicles and plan to continue that legacy. This version of the Camry (LE model) still has a roomy interior and is even more roomy than previous versions. There are four cup-holders and updated car-seat hookups.
The engine is powerful--I have the four cylinder version. It gets great...
review »Toyota's 2007 Camry lives up to the models' well-earned reputation as a top of the line sedan for the person who has given in to spending a bit more for quality, but at the same time knows that a BMW falls way outside the budget for a new set of wheels. It shines in all those areas that we've come to expect, both from the Camry, and from it's manufacturer, Toyota, which might soon for the first time ever surpass all American manufacturers as the top seller of vehicles in the USA. What a shame that Toyota has overlooked the fastest growing option trend for vehicles in the non-SUV category of...
review »My husband and I purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry in June, 2006. My husband needed a new company car and with the look, styling, the ride, and gas mileage, the Camry was a no-brainer when we went car shopping. We fell in love with the car as soon as we drove it. There were many upgrades that were added to the car before it was brought to the dealer's lot, so it had everything on it that we were looking for...alloy wheels, leather seats, tinted windows, V-6...it was perfect.
My husband drives this car every day for work putting several miles a day on this car and is incredibly happy with it. ...
review »I love my car! I have a 2007 Toyota Camry, the NASCAR edition and it's the best car that I've ever had. It has style, looks sporty and is fun to drive. I've heard a lot of people tell me that the Toyota Camry is an older persons car but I totally disagree. This car is for anyone and everyone. It gets good gas mileage, holds up to five people and has a style all of it's own. I spent around 4 months shopping for cars and I kept going back to the Toyota Camry. It had more style and looked classier than the other vehicles I was looking at. I do a lot of in town driving verses highway driving and I...
review »I really like my Camry. I have had it a couple of years now and we have taken quite a few trips with it. I drive the car to work every day. This car was the very first brand new car that I have every had in my life. I picked the Camry for the reliability that it has. It has always been a well made car that keeps its value. Most of my sisters also drive a Camry, we all live in different states and only see each other once every few years. so it is kind of ironic that we all choose a Camry to drive.I guess that only concern I have had is that it doesn't get as good as gas mileage that I thought...
review »The Toyota Camry made its somewhat quiet splash late in the 1983 model year, when Toyota replaced its old rear-wheel-drive Corona with the front-wheel-drive Camry, a car aimed specifically at the U.S. market. For virtually all of the next quarter century, the Toyota Camry would dominate the midsize family sedan segment, as consumers prized it for its high build quality, unflagging reliability, comfortable ride and impressive durability.
Initially available only with a four-cylinder engine, the Camry soon saw the option of a V6 and, as the years went by, increases in size, luxury and feature availability....
review »We test drove this particular vehicle and I did not like it. It felt really rough and out of control while turning. I have had several toyota's prior to test driving. What drove me away was the simple fact that when I needed my car inspected and scheduled and appt at a Licensed Toyota dealer and appeared at my scheduled appt time. I was told that they could not work on my vehicle. I was really pisst. I felt that you could not have called me in a week in advance or maybe the night before or even within that 2:00 hour time frame to let me know that you guys were so backed up. I understand that things...
review »I bought my 2007 Toyota Camry hybrid in the summer of 2006, when it was a brand-new offering on the market. I haven't regretted that purchase for one moment.
I love the way it handles in all road conditions, and I enjoy taking it for long rides. It's a very comfortable car.
All the "bells and whistles" are lots of fun--seeing my gas mileage as I drive along, being able to compute how many miles I have left before I need to buy more gas, using the steering wheel to answer the phone or manipulate the CD player and radio.
However, the gas mileage isn't as great as I had expected it to be. ...
review »Wow! What I don't like about this car, really nothing.
After downsizing from a Toyota Sequioa to conserve fuel, I found it did just that!
A car really scared me at first, after all I was an SUV fan (also have had 2 4Runners), but the safety features on this one put me at ease!
After the first week of driving it, well...I was impressed with her pick up & handling.
The front wheel drive does well in the Colorado snow, but I don't take her out when we get 4 feet!
Overall I love it! I think I'll keep it!
Toyota Service is great & always has been.
My husband and I bought our 2007 Toyota Camry LE after driving a 1995 Toyota Camry until it had 200,000 miles on it. The 1995 still had life left in it and I believe someone is still driving it today! Our carpet in our '07 Camry is velcroed in and the upholstery is the cheapest I've seen in a car. The car looks great on the inside and outside but it is very cheaply made compared to the 1995 Camry. Another good thing about it is that it gets great gas mileage but if you want a Camry I suggest buying a used one that is a couple of years old.
