2007

I looked at a lot of different mid-sized SUVs and I couldn't be happier. I traded in my 2004 Subaru WRX sportwagon for my 2007 Toyota 4Runner and it was a great trade. The Subaru is an amazing vehicle but I needed a larger vehicle to transport hockey equipment. Dealers in my area are finally willing to offer reasonable trades and this is a tremendous SUV, no exceptions. If you're used to a small or mid-sized car this will take a little getting used to but it is well worth it. It has a tight turning radius and is easy to park. The mirrors are enormous and there are extra mirrors in the cargo area that let you see the rear bumper. There are dozens of little things that make this vehicle a joy to own. It is the most comfortable vehicle I've ever owned. If it is near you price range it is well worth a discussion with a dealer to put one of these in your driveway. It is amazing in the snow and ice and I haven't had any maintenance issue in my first year (15K miles.)
