Touch Of Class Lynette Floral Jewelry Armoire —

Last fall my sister-in-law gave me a new jewelry armoire.  It was supposed to be part of a Christmas gift but came early so my brother delivered it to me early.  I was using a beautiful cherry jewelry armoire but SIL thought the painted design would compliment my bedroom, the sage green carpet, etc.  I am so spoiled.

The Lynette Floral Jewelry Armoire is a beautiful piece of furniture that could compliment many decors.  The one in the main photo is not mine.  That was the one being used on the website for advertising purposes.  I have attached pictures of mine so that you can see the details.

This specific jewelry armoire is being sold thru Touch Of Class online and thru catalogs.  This is what the website had to say about the armoire:

Lynette Floral Jewelry Armoire
Wooden Lynette Jewelry Armoire features six felt-lined drawers to store your precious jewels. Elegant scrolls and floral designs are painted over a lovely sponged ivory background. Top lifts to reveal a mirror and ring dividers. Hooks for your necklaces are behind two side doors. Overall, 16"Wx13"Dx37"H; 43 lbs.

• Handpainted jewelry armoire
• Elegant scrolls & floral designs
• Six functional, black felt-lined drawers
• Cabriole legs

At any given time this armoire is going to be made available in different patterns, designs and color schemes.  I personally like the color scheme of the one in the main photo better but am just as satisfied with mine.

The jewelry armoire provides plenty of drawer space.  My only complaint is that in comparison to other armoires and my former one: This one doesn't have the tiny compartments for sorting earrings.  This becomes a very frustrating dilemma for me because I am clinically diagnosed with OCD.  I need those earrings to be separated by color and a four compartment drawer (see picture) versus a 12 or 16 compartment drawer doesn't cut it.  I have been looking at places like Bed Bath & Beyond to get the little dividers that you can insert into the drawers.  That would eliminate the problem.

There are two doors that have two levels of gold hooks for hanging necklances.  I'm not a necklace-wearing girl although I have been given a few thru the years.  At the bottom of each door is a little velvet cord that you can place things behind.  So, I have used the door space to save some of my "secret" documents--sentimental emails/letters from friends.  This jewelry armoire doesn't have the larger lingerie drawers at the bottom like my other one did.  Instead, there are two doors that open up to reveal a shelf unit.

The top opens up to reveal a mirror and ring compartment and some smaller compartments.  I use the smaller compartments to store my various holiday jewelry. As you can see in my photos; I don't keep my jewelry armoire open.

Beneath the top compartment is the only other drawer with dividers (4 compartments) that I am using for earrings.  Beneath that drawer is four more drawers without compartments.  I use those drawers to lay out watches, bracelets, and one drawer I keep greeting cards in.  Not sure why, but I do.

The online description specifies the black felt-lined drawers.  Mine is ivory; I guess to compliment the color of the design.  The cabriole legs along with the artwork gives this jewelry just the touch of class it needs to compliment any chic, sassy, classy, or extravagant girl's house.

Touch of Class sells the Lynette Floral Jewelry Armoire for $299 but has it on sale for $269.  That's a little steep but with that price you are getting class and quality packed with durability.  My SIL has been shopping at Touch of Class for years and has never had any complaints about anything she has purchased.  You can check out their website at www.touchofclass.com

I only gave it a 4 star rating because I can't believe the area for storing earrings didn't have smaller compartments.  I just assumed that was the purpose of those drawers!  And four large drawers without any compartments?  That baffles me too.

I love Touch of Class. The jewelry armoire is beautiful. Gigi, you can purchase the divider compartments at BBB. Just measure your drawer so you will know what size to buy.
