The main drawback that I can find for the Toshiba NB205 is the fact that the keyboard takes some getting used to. The computer's tiny frame means it is easy to sweep the mouse pad with the palm of your hand by mistake, while you type. But after a few days of use, I got used to a slightly new style of typing - as with any new keyboard.

I bought the Toshiba Satellite in July of 2005. I picked this computer because I was starting graduate school and needed something that is portable and reasonably priced. It also has a wireless connection, which makes studying at the coffee shops or library very easy. I started to notice that as I was typing up essays or research papers that the cursor kept jumping lines and deleting previous paragraphs. This Toshiba Satellite laptop is a good starter computer . I have really enjoyed my laptop but there are a few issues that could be improved on this model . The speakers are not good at all if you are looking at movies or listening to music you have to listen through ear phones because the sound is not loud enough. I have also noticed the more information you store on the hard drive the slower this computer gets and it will freeze up easily so I would not suggest this model to someone needing a lot of storage space . I really like my toshiba laptop, to be specific its a satellite L305-S5970. I've had this laptop now for about three months, and so far it's been working fine. I have to say the main reason that I bought this laptop is because of the fact that it looked very sturdy. My assumption was correct because I did drop it once, and to my relief it was just fine; not even a dent was in my laptop. Its very fast and it has enough space for me to store all of my work.
